A daily - Tues, Sept 15

Science today...three groups rotating through three stations...although we only had time to make it to the first rotation because kids were really making GREAT use of their time. Interestingly, most of the students in our class were together in 5th grade last year (same class). While I heard that they had a particularly difficult year (behaviorally and academically), they have started out their new 6th grade year wonderfully! Judy is continually impressed by the learning taking place and behaviors being (mostly) manageable. I wonder if, because these students know each so well, they are kind of unconsciously making positive choices this year based on the overall "feel" of the class. Judy has certainly given them a new "lease" on life and a fresh start...the kids seem to be embracing the opportunity to do well this year!!
